This policy explains what Grid Intercon collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to our website and to the Grid Intercon platform. The controller of your personal data is Grid Intercon LLC, a Texas limited liability company.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your project data to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, whether our own or a third party's. We do not share your project data with other customers. We do not process personal data for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We use the following providers to run the Service. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
| Provider | Purpose | Data location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Application database and document storage | United States |
| Clerk | Authentication and user management | United States |
| Vercel | Application and website hosting | United States |
| Stripe | Payment processing | United States |
| SendGrid | Transactional and alert email | United States |
We will give customers at least 30 days' notice before adding or replacing a provider that processes Customer Data, by email or in-product notice. If you object to a new provider on reasonable data-protection grounds, contact us and we will work with you in good faith; if we cannot resolve it, you may terminate the affected subscription and receive a refund of prepaid, unearned fees.
Each customer organization's data is isolated at the database level using row-level security, with per-organization document storage paths. Data is hosted in the United States. We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and least-privilege access for our own personnel. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if you require a formal security review, contact us for our current data-handling summary.
If we become aware of a breach of security leading to the unauthorized acquisition of your personal data, we will notify affected customers without unreasonable delay, describing what we know about the incident, the categories of data involved, and the steps we are taking. We will cooperate with your own notification obligations.
We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active. After termination or suspension, you may export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it. We retain billing records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and limited log data for security purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To exercise any right, email support@gridintercon.com. We may need to verify your identity, normally by confirming control of the account email address.
We will respond to a verified request within 45 days. We may extend that period once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, and will tell you if we do. If we decline to act on your request, we will explain why within the same period.
You may appeal a refusal by emailing support@gridintercon.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing to an appeal within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain session security. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not run third-party analytics. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.
Our public website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, your IP address is transmitted to Google as part of the request. We do not control that processing and receive no data from it. If you would rather avoid it, a content blocker will prevent the request; the site remains readable in a fallback typeface.
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice before they take effect, and the "last updated" date above will change.
